Canna-Cobbler

Prep Time: 45-60 minutes         Yield: 6-8 Servings

Ingredients

For the filling you will need:

  • 3 cups of fresh berries (your choice raspberry or strawberry)

  • 2 cups of fresh Peaches, skinned, pitted, and sliced

  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1-2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

For the topping you will need:

  • 4 tablespoons of melted cannabutter‍

  • ⅓ cup of brown sugar, tightly packed

  • ⅓ cup of all-purpose flour

  • ⅔ cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup crushed pecans or almonds, whichever you prefer

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Begin by turning your oven to 325 degrees.

  2. While it is preheating, mix the cobbler filling. Stir the peaches, flour, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon in a bowl. Once this is thoroughly mixed, add the berries. Be careful to leave the berries as intact as possible.

  3. Grease a baking dish with non-stick spray and pour in the filling mixture. Be sure it’s smooth and the filling moves into all corners of the dish. Let sit while you make the topping.

  4. Using a medium-large bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, oats, pecans, nuts, cinnamon, and salt. Combine them by hand or gently with a spoon.

  5. Melt your cannabutter slowly on the stove. The heat should be low, so you don’t burn the butter or compromise the THC content. When it’s melted, add it to the topping and gently combine.

  6. When the topping is combined, pour it on top of your filling in the baking dish. It’s important that the entire surface area is covered.

  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until you see the filling bubble nicely.

  8. Serve alone or with ice cream, and be aware of dosing before you take a second piece.
