Sweet Leaf Elixir

Prep Time: 15 to 25 minutes         Yield: 21 Tablespoons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 gram RSO (Rick Simpson Oil)

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable glycerin (optional, for better emulsification)

Instructions

  1. Combine Sugar and Water:

    • In a small saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water.

  2. Heat the Mixture:

    • Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved. This should take about 5 minutes. Do not let the mixture boil.

  3. Add RSO:

    • Once the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is clear, reduce the heat to low. Add the RSO to the mixture. Use a whisk or spoon to stir continuously to ensure the RSO is fully incorporated.

  4. Add Vegetable Glycerin (Optional):

    • If you’re using vegetable glycerin, add it now. This helps with emulsification, ensuring the RSO stays evenly distributed in the syrup.

  5. Simmer:

    • Let the mixture simmer on low heat for an additional 5 minutes while stirring continuously. This helps ensure the RSO is fully dissolved and evenly distributed.

  6. Cool and Store:

    • Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature. Once cooled, pour the syrup into your storage container. Seal it with a lid.

  7. Label and Store:

    • Label your container with the date and dosage information. Store the syrup in the refrigerator. It should last for up to a month.

Dosage Note: The potency of your RSO infused simple syrup will depend on the strength of the RSO you use. Be sure to calculate the dosage carefully based on the THC content of the RSO and the desired serving size.

Usage: Use your RSO infused simple syrup in beverages like cocktails, mocktails, coffee, tea, or even drizzle it over desserts for a sweet and infused treat. Enjoy responsibly!
