Winter High Cider 🌬️🍊✨

Total Time: 20 mins Yield: 4 to 5 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 quart (4 cups) apple cider (unfiltered for richer flavor)

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice

  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 3 whole cloves

  • 2 star anise pods

  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

  • .1g to .125g RSO (Available in Dispensary)

  • Optional garnish: Orange slices, fresh cranberries, cinnamon sticks, rosemary sprigs

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, combine apple cider, pomegranate juice, orange juice, honey (or maple syrup), cinnamon stick, cloves, star anise, and nutmeg. Stir well.

  2. Simmer the Base: Heat the mixture over medium heat until it just starts to simmer. Reduce heat to low and let it gently simmer for 10 minutes to blend the flavors.

  3. Infuse the RSO: Remove the mocktail mixture from heat and allow it to cool slightly (warm, not hot, about 120Β°F). Stir in the RSO, making sure it’s evenly distributed.

  4. Strain and Serve: Strain the mocktail to remove spices and pour into mugs or heat-safe glasses.

  5. Garnish: Add an orange slice, fresh cranberries, or a cinnamon stick to each glass for festive flair. A sprig of rosemary adds a fragrant touch.
