Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 1 lime (juiced)

  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves

  • 1 small garlic clove (minced)

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 jalapeño (optional, for spice)

  • 1-2 drops of RSO (adjust for desired dosage)

  • 2-4 tbsp water (to thin the sauce, if needed)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Scoop the flesh of the avocados into a blender or food processor. Add lime juice, sour cream or yogurt, cilantro, garlic, cumin, salt, pepper, and jalapeño (if using).

  2. Blend: Pulse the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add water 1 tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.

  3. Infuse with RSO: Add the RSO to the blender and blend again briefly to incorporate it evenly.

  4. Taste and Adjust: Taste the sauce and adjust salt, lime juice, or spice level if needed.

  5. Serve: Transfer the avocado sauce to a bowl and serve immediately with tacos, or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

Notes:

  • This recipe makes about 1 cup of sauce, which can generously top 4 servings of tacos.

  • Adjust the RSO dosage based on your tolerance and the desired effect, keeping servings in mind for even distribution.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container with plastic wrap pressed directly on the surface to prevent browning.
