Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados
1 lime (juiced)
1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
1 small garlic clove (minced)
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 jalapeño (optional, for spice)
1-2 drops of RSO (adjust for desired dosage)
2-4 tbsp water (to thin the sauce, if needed)
Instructions:
Prepare Ingredients: Scoop the flesh of the avocados into a blender or food processor. Add lime juice, sour cream or yogurt, cilantro, garlic, cumin, salt, pepper, and jalapeño (if using).
Blend: Pulse the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add water 1 tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
Infuse with RSO: Add the RSO to the blender and blend again briefly to incorporate it evenly.
Taste and Adjust: Taste the sauce and adjust salt, lime juice, or spice level if needed.
Serve: Transfer the avocado sauce to a bowl and serve immediately with tacos, or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
Notes:
This recipe makes about 1 cup of sauce, which can generously top 4 servings of tacos.
Adjust the RSO dosage based on your tolerance and the desired effect, keeping servings in mind for even distribution.
Store leftovers in an airtight container with plastic wrap pressed directly on the surface to prevent browning.
